Dane Raynaldo John established Distinct I.T. Productions in the year 2009. Dane John was born on August 28, 1987 in Port of Spain, Trinidad. He studied at the Caribbean Traveling Film School. At the age of 17 Dane John was an editor, camera director and cameraman in his local church. His first project was editing a television program for his church called ‘’ Encounter With Glory'’, which aired on CNC3 in 2007. The program then was transferred to CNMG and TV6, which airs every Saturday and Sunday. He was then contracted to manage a studio at Youth For Christ Trinidad and Tobago. The team at Youth for Christ produced a kids and youth program called ‘’Heartline,’’ which aired on CNMG and Gayelle in the year 2007 to 2010. He then moved on to directing and shooting mini movies which deal with social issues, such as "Man on the Run", "Porn and Me", and "Suicide", just to name a few. In the year 2011 he locally shot the film ‘’Maxi Taxi Maddness’’ of which he was the director and co-producer. This piece was nominated for best short film in the Flow Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival 2011. In 2012 his company was contracted by Frank Porter, to direct and edit a youth program called ‘’Heartline Youth’’ which airs on tv6 @5pm every Monday. Distinct I.T. Productions has also been involved in recording live events and live streaming online. Such events include D-Day, National Liberation Day Trinidad, National Liberation Day Tobago, Dance as David Danced, Samuel Dyer in Concert at N.A.P.A, and many more. Distinct I.T productions have built up a repertoire of excellence within just over two years. The company, with a seasoned and innovative staff, is now ready to take its work to the next level.
